— ETHELIUM · APP DEVELOPMENT

Have an app idea? We'll build it.

Ethelium designs, builds, and ships mobile apps — the same way we build our own. You bring the idea; we take it from a conversation to a real app on the App Store and Google Play. No agency layers, no hand-offs: you work directly with the person writing the code.

— How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

01

Tell us the idea

Email a few paragraphs — what the app does, who it's for. Rough is fine. We'll reply with questions and an honest read on whether it's worth building.

02

Fixed scope, fixed quote

We agree what version one is (and isn't), and you get a fixed price and timeline before anything is built. No hourly meters running.

03

Build, with weekly demos

You see a working build every week on your own phone — not mockups. Course-correct early, while changes are cheap.

04

Ship to the stores

We handle App Store and Google Play submission end to end — listings, screenshots, privacy labels, review back-and-forth — until it's live.

— What you get

Everything, properly done.

  • iOS and Android from one codebase where it fits (Flutter), or native Swift where it matters.
  • You own the source code — full repository hand-over, no lock-in.
  • Store deployment included — App Store + Google Play listings, screenshots, and review handling.
  • Privacy-first by default — the same no-dark-patterns, no-data-selling ethos as our own apps.
  • Working software weekly — TestFlight / internal-track builds you can hold, every week.
  • A launch website — landing page, privacy policy, and support page, hosted like this one.

— Questions people ask

The honest answers.

What does an app cost?

It depends entirely on scope — a focused single-purpose app is a different project from a multi-user product with accounts and a backend. That's why step one is free: you tell us the idea, we tell you what version one would cost, as a fixed number. You'll know the price before you commit to anything.

How long does it take?

Most version-one apps land in the range of a few weeks to a few months, depending on scope. The fixed quote comes with a fixed timeline, and the weekly builds mean you can see progress against it — you're never wondering what's happening.

Who owns the code and the app?

You do. The app ships under your developer accounts, and you get the full source repository at hand-over. If you ever want to take it to another developer, you can — though we'd rather keep you by being good.

iPhone only, or Android too?

Both. We build cross-platform with Flutter when one codebase serves both stores well (that's how Hostmaster is built, and how Boxerium shipped on iOS and Android), and native Swift when the app demands it — real-time audio and camera work like Singium and Hoopium.

What about updates after launch?

Version one includes a stabilisation period for bugs found after launch. Beyond that, ongoing updates and new features are either a simple monthly retainer or quoted per feature — whichever suits how you want to run it.

What kinds of ideas are a good fit?

Focused tools that do one thing well — the kind of apps we build for ourselves. Timers, trackers, utilities, camera and audio tools, small marketplaces. If your idea needs a 50-person team or a venture round, we'll tell you honestly; if it can be version-oned by a small, sharp build, we're exactly the right shop.

The best way to start is a two-paragraph email.

What the app does, and who it's for. We'll take it from there.
